A haven is a place of safety and rest. Blessings speaks to the good things a home can hold: belonging, relationships, growth, and everyday joy. Together, the name reflects the kind of home we hope to provide.

We are preparing to offer residential support grounded in person-centered practice. Our Residential Support page describes our intended approach and the areas we plan to focus on. Specific services will be confirmed as licensing is completed, so please treat that information as planned rather than final.

In general, residential sponsorship is a model in which a person lives in a family-style home with a trained individual or family, often called a sponsor, who provides everyday support. A licensed provider organization arranges, supervises, and supports that home. Haven Blessings is being developed as a residential sponsorship and support organization. Details of how we will work will be shared once confirmed.

We are not yet able to share information about funding or payment. In Virginia, many community-based disability supports are funded through Medicaid waiver programs, and a support coordinator or case manager can explain what options may apply to a particular person.

Because we are still preparing to open, we are not scheduling visits through this website. Photographs and more information about our home will be added to the Our Home page when available.
